Nottingham Shakespeare Company – Creative Producer

Administered the delivery of an ACE supported TIE tour of Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth aimed at KS4 students studying the text for English. Duties ranged from managing accounts, actors, booking rehearsals & shows, planning & executing show-days as actor/SM, producing and maintaining all relevant documentation and being first point of contact for queries relating to the tour.

The outcomes of this tour were to

• Provide 20 performances at a reduced rate to Nottinghamshire Schools unable to normally afford touring theatre.
• Develop an abridged version of Much Ado About Nothing with our standing company to add to our tour offering.
• Receive feedback for the production of a report on the efficacy of our work.
• Develop new marketing materials to support continued bookings into the 26/27 school year.

For the NSC’s amatuer full-cast strand, I booked, started rehearsals and worked with our marketing manager to advertise a two-week tour of Titus Andronicus. This was sadly postponed due to casting issues, which threatened our ability to realise the project as envisioned.

We are currently working on an outdoor summer tour of The Tempest for performance July/August 2026. Rehearsals are due to start in May!
